Dp animation maker alternative4/3/2023 Windows and various drivers are up-to-date.Īnd though a minor thing, I also thought I'd mention that I noticed with the Rotation Brush settings, the Clockwise and Counterclockwise Direction it shows a brush as having is actually reversed. My basic computer specs are Windows 10 64Bit Home Edition, nVidia graphics-card GTX 750Ti, CPU is a AMD Quad-Core running at 3.50GHz, 12GB of RAM. Perhaps the really large file-size of those videos made the playback "choppy" and maybe if I ran those AVIs though a video convertor or my movie-editing software it may have reduced the video file-size and then would play better? Though regarding the GIF format, I did try once making a much smaller resolution-size and shorter duration in GIF and it did make a short & blurry GIF, so perhaps I just need to experiment a bit more with the export settings (resolution size, FPS, Duration, etc.) to get something of resonable resolution size that would still look good.Įxporting to a stand-alone exe did work good though, but it didn't give me any options when exporting (like resolution size, etc.) and from that I was able to use one of my video-capture / recording software to record the scene for a few minutes, then in my video-editing software I did some edits accordingly and added in some background ambient sound-effects.Įxporting to AVI did seem to sort of work, but for a fairly short video the file size was really huge 4GB for a 2 Minute video (though I guess that might be expected as the only Compression option I had was "Uncompressed AVI") and playback in a few media-players (Zoom-Player, Windows Media Player and MPC / Media Player Classic Home Cinema Player) I played the resulting video in was a bit "choppy" (I exported in a resolution size of 1920x1080 and also in 1280x720, but both videos played "choppy"). I tried exporting in resolution sizes of 1920x1080 and also in 1280x720, but it would still result in crashes for GIF or WMV formats and the error message for MOV format. Perhaps I need to install Quicktime seperately first?). It crashes (with a generic "DP Animation Maker has stopped working" Windows error message) when I try to export in either GIF or WMV formats (and an error message for MOV, with something like a "Unable to initialize Quicktime Environment" error.
